This is a sculpture of an eagle carving created from piece of driftwood. From the gnarled wood to the eagle feathers, the detailing on this piece is truly splendid.

Swan Manufacturing Co. donates 10% of the sales of this piece to support the Alaska Raptor Center in Sitka, Alaska. Each year, the Alaska Raptor Center rescues and rehabilitates about 200 eagles, owls, hawks and other wild birds.

Unfortunately, some of these birds are so severely injured that they cannot be released back into the wild. For these birds, the Center's "Raptors In Residence" program provides a home, and an opportunity to allow students and visitors to learn more about these wonderful creatures.

Cast in brown resin, with a natural wood finish.

This item measures approximately 10" x 10" x 4" and weighs about 1 1/4 lbs.
