Bluebird House
This bluebird house is a replica of a hollow maple log. It was originally molded from a real maple tree, then formed to audubon society size recommendations for bluebirds.
Birds find the natural look and shape attractive. The 1-1/2" entrance is optimal for bluebirds, and the lack of a perch discourages unwanted species from taking over the birdhouse.
The tough poly resin will not rot like wooden birdbouses, and will not allow birds to enlarge the entrance hole.
The bottom of the house is removable for easy cleaning & disinfecting.
This birdhouse can be hung from a shepherd's hook, or it may be mounted to a pole. Predrilled mounting holes are ready for use.
For the crafter, this piece also makes a wonderful addition to a basket arrangement!
Cast in brown poly resin, with a natural wood finish.
Measures approx. 11" high x 5" dia. and weighs about 1-3/4 lbs.
